Arrive at the exquisite Cairnbrogie Dairy Farm, located just outside Plett central. This pristine stretch of farm & coastal land is managed by an ethical dairy farmer, deeply active in nature conservation throughout the region. The land here aligns strongly with Arkology’s ethos of ‘regenerative play’, and therefore by supporting this festival you’ll also be directly contributing to the protection and biodiversity of this wild and precious forest and fynbos region.

After running a successful theme camp this year at Afrikaburn, their warmth and kind heartedness has wriggled its way into of Arkology set up once again. Enigmatic and industrious, Thor Rixon has taken South African electronic music and moulded it, revved it up and dressed it down. Each of this multi - instrumentalist performances are unique, incorporating extensive improvisation coupled with a distinct stage presence. Thor collaborates with a range of diverse artists from varying genres with a focus deep and rolling dance music. For this NYE, the dynamic artist and close friend of Thor - Albany Lore will be joining him on stage. As a singer and a saxophonist, the sonic collaboration of the electronic and live elements of these two artists promises to be high in energy and fun. PUPIL Visuals creates visuals for music. His work explores the micro & macro, geometries and audio-visual synesthesia - drawing often from years of self-collected organic content (think vivid landscapes, atmospheres & wild coastlines!). Catch PUPIL throwing light, colour and form onto an enormous Victorian-style barn that will form the backdrop of Arkology in Eden (NYE).
To accommodate those who are making a long trip down for the event and are looking for beautiful, affordable and convenient accommodation - there is a newly renovated campsite just 3 km down the road from the venue. R 500 per night for 4 people and R 150 pp thereafter.
